Stella Letter to Amelia

Letter Contents

Amelia,

I don’t even know where to start. I remember the look on your face that day in the dungeon. You were terrified, and you still tried to reach me. You didn’t run. You didn’t hide. You fought me because you thought maybe you could save me, and I’ve never forgotten that. I was there still, deep down, screaming behind a madness I couldn’t control. But I was there. I miss you. I miss hearing your voice, the way you’d scold me for tracking mud through the hall, or roll your eyes when I acted like I didn’t need help. You were always braver than you knew. You walked into hell for me, and that’s something no one else… well, one person did, a long time ago. You never knew them, I hardly knew them. But they saved me, just like you tried to.

I’ve made new allies, good ones, but it’s not the same. You knew me before all this, before I became what I am now. You saw me when I still had titles and pride instead of scars and armor. I miss that. I miss you. Come see me, Amelia. Not because I need you, but because I want you here. It would mean more than I can put into words.

Just… please keep an open mind. I haven’t changed much since you last saw me.
